Compare the two major Bedrock projects

These projects share a concept but have different authors, files and support instructions. Treat them as alternatives, not mirrors.

Bedrock compatibility checks

Bedrock files use MCADDON or MCPACK formats and normally open directly in Minecraft for import. After import, activate the supplied behavior and resource packs in the world settings. Read the selected project's notes for experimental toggles and connection requirements.

Preview/beta Minecraft builds may use different APIs from the stable version. If the add-on imports but Verity does not respond, confirm the exact game build, enable the required experiments and check whether the project's remote service is online.

• Use an ordinary test world first.
• Enable only the experiments named by the selected project.
• Do not combine packs from two separate Verity projects.
• Keep the original filename and source page for troubleshooting.

Why the Verity Mod Bedrock name covers different add-ons

Bedrock search results show at least two actively discussed projects with similar names. Verity BE is published by Undertaletalelover under Project ID 1574632, while Verity - Bedrock Edition is published by PnTMC under Project ID 1575941. They have separate files, update histories, descriptions and support channels. Neither should be treated as a mirror of the other merely because both recreate Verity.

This distinction affects every setup step. A behavior pack from one Verity Mod Bedrock project should not be combined with a resource pack or command copied from the other. Select one implementation, keep its original MCADDON package together, and use only that publisher's instructions while testing.

Compare current Bedrock releases before download

On the review date, Verity BE lists version 1.0.9 for the stable Bedrock 26.30 generation, while the PnTMC project lists version 2.1.0 for Bedrock 26.30. Those internal version numbers are not directly comparable: 2.1.0 is not automatically newer or better than 1.0.9 because each belongs to a different codebase.

Compare supported Minecraft builds, update date, experimental-feature requirements, known issues and the kind of Verity experience described by the author. Use the Project ID to return to the same listing later. If an add-on stops working after Minecraft updates, check that project's Files tab rather than downloading another identically named package from an unknown mirror.

Verity Mod Bedrock setup requirements

Bedrock add-ons can contain behavior packs, resource packs and scripts. Import success does not automatically activate all of them in a world. After opening the MCADDON, review the world settings and confirm the selected project's packs are enabled. Some projects require experimental toggles such as Beta APIs because their scripts use features outside the normal stable pack surface.

Verity BE also documents connection behavior for its AI responses. If Verity appears but only returns an empty or three-dot response, the problem may be a missing connection command or unavailable backend rather than a failed import. Follow the author-provided tutorial for the exact release instead of copying a command from a different Bedrock project.

Install on Windows, Android and iOS carefully

On Windows, double-clicking an MCADDON normally asks Minecraft to import it. On Android or iOS, use the file manager or share sheet to open the package with Minecraft. Wait for a completed import message before creating the test world. If the operating system saves the file as an archive or adds a second extension, restore the published MCADDON filename rather than manually extracting individual files.

Console installation is more restricted and should not be promised simply because the console runs Bedrock Edition. The safest supported targets are the platforms named or demonstrated by the selected project. Minecraft Preview can also differ from the stable build because its APIs move ahead, so test against the exact stable version listed by the author.

Protect a Bedrock world while testing Verity

Duplicate or export an important world before adding the behavior pack. Create a separate world for the first launch, enable cheats or experiments only when the project says they are required, and record which options changed. If the world behaves unexpectedly, stop opening the original save and remove the pack from the test copy first.

When updating a Verity Mod Bedrock add-on, deactivate the old version and verify whether the publisher recommends replacing or removing previous packs. Duplicate pack identifiers can cause import warnings or leave an older script active. A controlled update preserves a path back to the working configuration and gives the project author useful details if you need support.

Report a Bedrock problem with useful details

Record the project author, Project ID, add-on version, Minecraft build, device platform and enabled experiments. Describe whether the failure happened during import, pack activation, world loading or conversation. Screenshots of the exact Minecraft message are more useful than a renamed file or a link from an unrelated mirror. Do not publish private connection credentials. This information lets the correct Verity Mod Bedrock author reproduce the issue and avoids mixing support advice between separate projects. Preserve the original MCADDON and a clean test world so the same failure can be checked again after an update or support reply.
